Joan’s creative passion began in her teens, with sketching and design projects. She moved to New York City for formal studies, graduated with honors, and soon became a recognized talent among top designers.

  Advanced studies in watercolor painting and botanical illustration refined Joan’s eye for light and color. In the spring of 1997 Heaven on Walls was founded bringing charm, warmth, and elegance to North Jersey homes.

  Joan’s most recent accomplishments include co–founding the Mid Atlantic Faux and Decorative Artisans 2001, as well as continuing studies with top design and faux experts.
